Im Happy to announce that the problem seems to have vanished.Im not expereincing drop outs, since yesterday.Anyways I have no clue how did it change.I have got few guesses though,In case this problem persists. And for future references.

    2)Uninstalled Win XP SP3
b)Changed the Value of Speed and Duplex to Auto-Negotiation.Default Value was 100 Mbps
c)Noteid not tweak any router settings.Everything Configured according to BSNL

    Known Causes
a)What I think from my opinion it has something to do with SP3's Networking tool.It Kinda gets into conflict, due to Autoconfig nature of BSNL PPPoE account. This inference is obtained because when drop out occurs there are no Primary and Secondary DNS's registered under Router Info.By default it should be there.Something like 'ipconfig /release' happens.

NOTE:ADSL connection is ok.Annutuation and SNR values normal.

Anyways Im using Win XP SP2 right now and today will upgrade to WIN 7 Ultimate.
    Hope it doesn't haunt me.

PS:Im sorry If Im not being too specific with the solution, actually Im confused myself. Will probe into it further.

Using SP3 with PPPoE. No issues so far. Just on a general note, SP2 is kind of outdated, use SP3 if you are sticking with XP.

May some improper update installation caused the issue. How did you roll back the update ?

If you are using PPPoE, modem just gives an active LAN. Modem configuration has no effect on it. You can use the same modem with Ubuntu with absolutely no change in settings either using ethernet or WiFi.
