The last time I checked, BSNL no longer supplies modem or attend modem related complaints. You can still have a chat with someone at exchange. If you do not have a modem as of now, it is better to get a WiFi modem. A good one in open market will cost you around Rs. 2,200. You can also get brands like Huaewi for around Rs. 1,500 on ebay. Or alternatively you can try brands like iBall which are good and cheaper than premium brands. A few members were also using TP Link made instruments.
