Speculations are going on. If you are active in other technology related forums, you will come across certain screenshots which highlight newer plans from BSNL.

The first screenshot contains an important field which the original poster decided to hide (for whatsoever reasons). The hidden part goes something like "speed upgrade will be effective only by December 2nd 2011".

Certain members in my BSNL Broadband community, they claim that their speeds have been raised from 256kbps to 512kbps. They are on the Home 499 UL plan.
In short...something or the other is brewing inside the BSNL camp...stay tuned for further updates
Nothing as such I feels. Would have seen some news or announcement in leading dailies if any.
Falling in Grade C+ with UL750 plan
Hopefully something good will happen, if not we will need to live with the existing speeds.
BSNL Chennai has introduced certain new broadband plans. Check them out over at http://goo.gl/6UDgm That is the only confirmed news as of now. These newly introduced plans are not groundbreaking either.

Well i have been hearing a lot about speed upgradation in 750 UL plan,But whats happening here.......i have been getting very low speed of 10-12 KBps.....what happened?????

@meetdillip Sorry,but i m just telling that today there is a degradation in my download speed,as the usual download speed is 50-64 KBps.Its not not that i am not getting max download speed,as i know for 512 kbps plan the download speed is 64 KBps.
iT SURE DID IT sure did!! am getting double the usual speed!!!!!!!!!!
But with FUP .
lol Wimax speed has been reduced to 50% in Kerala.
