    Default Bitcomet Listen Port Blocked

    Dear Essbebe and MeetDilip ! Good evening. I am facing a problem in Bitcomet with yellow light on status bar.I am on Win 7 Ultimate with Bsnl Landline connection 850 C Plan at Always On mode with modem ZTE DXL531B.In statistics it shows Tcp Listen port blocked by firewall/router.I had exception enabled in Firewall for Bitcomet.I had a PFportchecker which shows " ur external IP is So n so. We were able to ping ur router.Your port is not open or not reachable.I request you to help me with a link to solution.Thanks n kind regards.

    Try portforwarding. Use this guide

    Any particular reason for using Bitcomet ? utorrent is most popular and appreciated as the best.

    Checked . Port forward link earlier. Menu pages are not same.( old version may be. ). Idea/procedure same.

    remember reading , enable Both TCP AND UDP ports.

    Ya, possible to have different firmware versions for same modems.

    Thanks Sir Jee ! for ur prompt replies. But the problem is that now i am unable to access internal IP on browser.It says connection to 192.168.1.1 was interrupted.Error in browser " Error Connecion reset." Before posting here my problem i used TCP Optimizer.Is it because of it ? Thanks once again that u have taken pain to help me. Regards.

    Did you configure a static IP ? If yes, try it.

    Use this guide

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...no-access.html (192.168.1.1 No access !)

    If nothing works, post your ipconfig/all details here.

    PS : What is the status of Bitcomet ? The issue is solved ?

    Dear Sir ! I had hard reset modem by pressing in the bottom of modem with a ball point pen.Now i can access internal ip thru browser.But in virtual server setting there are two options for external port start and external port end.I could not figure out the values.Posting screen shots.Please have a look and advise. P.S. When i tried bridge mode , listen port on bitcomet was opened and showed green light.But i want to use wifi for my Android.Please help.Thanks for ur time .

    Thanks Essbebe and MeetDilip Sir ! I solved the problem by applying DMZ Host Settings in the modem.U are so helpful in nature.God bless you.Here is the screen shot. Kind Regards.
