Thread: how much for BB plus Landline connection ?

Now it's been very close to enjoy BSNL Broadband.
I went to the exchange and brought one application form, before that the discussion gone through was like this:

I asked for a "Application form for a fresh Broadband Connection"
Officer ask me in return that if i own a Landline or NOT! ?
I said, no, I don't. Then he reject to Gave ne a Appln. Form just because i don't have a Landline already.
I repeat that, gimme both, one for Broadband and another for Landline since Landline is necessary for BB connection.

Finally when i ask for the tariff's he told me to deal with Sub-exchange officer Mr.XYZ. when i went to Mr.XYZ he told me that it is not his duty to consult regarding tariff's. I request for approximate values then finally he agreed and hand over a piece of paper enlisting all the details including taxes and other stuff. But that was just in case Broadband not for Landline....
I am bit worried about Landline billing, so please...if you can help!
Do anyone had such dealing! in case please consult me how much really i will need to pay (BBG FN COMBO 500 + Landline ??? )
And please, tell me also
what are cheapest plans for Landline cause it's already reached to 500 rupees and i can't take much grater than 661. Cause currently i am paying so...

There are no land line charges for Combo plans and most of them has free calls too.

You need not pay anything unless you exceed either 1.5 GB day time usage or free calls limit.

The BSNL official is just playing babu. You do not need a land line for broadband connection. It is well under his responsibility to provide you a connection no matter you have a land line or not.
