Default Advantages and disadvantages of BSNL WIMAX OF BSNL BROADBAND

Hi friends, I need Unlimted internet at a decent speed urgently in my house as I am frustrated with Tata Photon+
I dont have a landline at home, first I thought I need landline for BSNL connection, but then thanks to this website, i realised I can get without any landline through BSNL wimax (not sure my info is correct, plz correct me if wrong)...
BSNL wimax has 750 UL at 512 kbps and also BSNL broadband with 750 UL...
IS THERE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS TWO PLANS APART FROM LANDLINE...
I mean frequent disconnectivity, slow speed, video buffering, Ping (for online gaming)...or any other
Please share your views, and guide me and give me all the advantages and disadvantages

You can buy Netgear N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router - Model DGN1000. I am using this for last 15 days. Peformance is very good and very easy to configure. The device cost is Rs. 2500 (It may vary location wise).

any kind of wireless connection is an inherently unreliable technology.

packet loss, latency fluctuations, lag/latency/high pings etc are considered perfectly normal with wireless connections.

Online gaming/ip telephony skype/secure shell, or vnc type apps/streaming video or audio and torrents are not ever a good idea on a wireless connection. Even downloading anything is a pain.

They really aren't for any kind of serious internet usage other than checking emails/facebook.

Also typically they are far costlier than wired connections.

The media representation of wireless connectivity is almost entirely a lie. People are stupid and buy into their bull-sh*t and hype.

Any BSNL night unlimited or fully unlimited plan is good. All the newer plans have FUP don't go for those.

BSNL home combo 500 with night unlimited is good and the UL 750 plan is good.

BSNL billing is from 1 st to 30 th (or 31 st) no matter when you get connection. If you got on 11 th, you need to pay only for 20 days.

    For 20 days,

    750 x (20/30) = 500 + 10.3 % tax = 500 + 51.50 = Rs. 551.50

for UL 750 Combo if you connection is valid from 11 th.
