hello all, im facing speed problems in my connection.
I've been using bsnl 2mbps connection for atleast 2 months now, but i dont get proper download speed though internet explorer, it goes to hardly 6-7 Kb/sec. But when i download something from torrents it works good, approx 170-180 constant speed, any help regarding this issue, why im not getting proper speed in internet explorer

Well Reinstall Ie6 Or Ie7.. Use It Witjout Any Add-on's , Even Google Toolbar For That Matter -=-

It all depends on the server you are downloading from as well coz you cant more speed then a server would allow at a given time. Most free music and video sites restrict download speeds to keep check on thier bandwidth usage as it is pretty costly.

Internet Explorer sucks big time .. slow and buggy !!
Go for Opera or Firefox

My opinion is not to use IE. I always use Firefox and a accelerator. That will help you to achieve the maximum speed. Also when you download in a free account the server may be too busy responding yours. So try to have an account in rapidshare or megaupload, they will help you get quality download at the maximum speed.
