Hope you plugged in the LAN cable to LAN port of your computer. If it is working on WiFi mode, nothing wrong in settings.

When you use LAN cable mode, what is the status of connection ? Does it show limited or no connectivity or cable not plugged in ?

Mention OS in use. You can try repair the connection from network connections or troubleshoot option in W7.
