Thread: DSL light gets disconnected

I am having DSL disconnection problem

I am using BSNL unlimited download plan of Rs. 1000 rent/month

I am having VMC AN 1020-21 wifi modem

The DSL light get disconnected frequently at anytime.

I have checked it and complained it to BSNL lot of time.

They have replaced port and jumpers 6 times at exchange.

Each joint between my place and exchange has been checked.

Even My phone pair also has been changed 4 times.

But still i am having same problem

On modem

SNR is 7-8db(Down) 25(Up)
LIne att is 37-38(Down) 16(Up)

Please help me about this problem

SNR is a bit too low and Attenuation is high for a good connection. It is normally affected by line condition and distance from exchange than ports used on exchange. Hope you checked the line from junction box to your home. Ask the line man to change the line completely.
