    Unhappy binatone modem is not working on BSNL

    hi guys
    i have a BSNL broadband connection
    i recently take a binatone modem from my friend to use the wifi facility to connect my phone but i dont know how to configure it
    can you plz tell me each step how to setup this modem
    direct plug and play is not working
    plzzzzz help

    BSNL vpi/vci 0 and 35. Select PVC2 and deactivate rest.
    Confirm model no DTW.845W.

    yes i have hai DT 845w modem

    and i tried all this settings but it didn't work

    see the screen shots

    and one more thing i want to ask

    what to write in that username and password did the BSNL gave me that when a got this connection 3 years ago or i can write anything in it

    Confirm BSNLOld modem make/number and confirm you get connected to Internet.

    You are almost connected !
    Use the USERID and PW which you used for BSNL
    ( In PPPoE mode entered stored in the router)


    In Advanced settings deactivate ACL and CWMP.
    Also select in LAN page OUI/IPTV blank index nos. ( *not sure if this is needed )

    Deactivate all PVC's except PVC2 vpi/vci 0 and 35.

    Reboot from current settings.
    Wait for the slide to show re booting.

    Another solution suggested:
    Change Firmware, if all fail.

    Try bridge mode(dial up mode)

    Check MTU value ( In Internet page). Is it default 0 or 1500? try 1492. or 1460.
