Thread: low speed in home500 plan

ust switched to bsnl broad(?)band..getting only speeds of 30KB DURING 2.00-8.00...no.iam not talking about torrents..even for my antivirus updates,direct software downloads etc..the connection gets disconnected frequently too..so wy is this?? a line problem??any1 has a similar experience??

No i don't experienced any speed problem or net getting disconnected. I have excellent download speed of 220 kb/sec at 2.00 am to 8.00 am. You better ask the higher authority of bsnl exchange about your problem. Surely they will rectify your problem soon.

Check your speed here and also updates are slow sometimes because there servers are far from your location.

The speed at which you download stuff also depends upon the speed of the server you're downloading from, the traffic on the server, the distance from the server besides your Bandwidth. I get a good 220KB/s on torrents.

Recently I got the same Home 500 Plan. I am also facing the same problem. Speed is not coming as expected and net is getting disconnected in every 5-8 minutes.

I am using the modem UT 300R2U.

i get 140-200 kbps on airtel unlimited 256kbps line @rs 999/month.

ya dude this problem is with ur line............... try downloading using download accelerator plus 8.5. this may surely help u................
