due to my ps3 in ppoe mode it shows nat type 2 but i tried in bridge mode and now it shows nat type 1 open nat i use win 7 in built dialer to connect to internet but is it legal to use bridge mode other then ppoe by default mode by bsnl thx .![]()

You are free to use any mode of connection with your BSNL connection. If you are using a domestic connection, you cannot share it with others on commercial modes. But PPPoE or Bridge, it is all your right to choose which one to use.
1 more thing does it affect speed compare to ppoe
No, was same for me in both modes. Don't remember any member complaining either.
On PPPoE since a long time now as I have more than one machine working. Default gateway is set as 192.168.1.1.
