Thread: my bsnl bb is very slow

Dear All

I am a victim of slow Broadband speed which is awfully frustrating experience as all sufferers may realize. my plan UL 750 combo,512 kbps . I have tried calling Exchange office -they let me know it is an exchange problem -immediately afterwards the speed became faster but then again it came down to 45/55 kbps I live in Guwahati where we dont have services like you broadband which is very fast I heard. Pl let me know if there is remedy to this problem.

Download TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net
and select slider to say 700 Kbps.
3.
recheck speed as in (1)
4.
Mention modem/model/number.
Check SNR ATTN d/l for 1 and ( 3) above.
5.
if possible change to GDMT mode. ( In modem )

What was the speed you were getting at that time ? After they fixed the issue, how much did you got ?

45/55 kbps or KBps ? Did you call and check at exchange after that ? May be the issue came back or they might be having some maintenance. Since you were getting good speeds some time back, I think it is some temporary issue. If calling BSNL is not solving problems, give this a try

Thank you all who have responded immediately offering useful advises for speeding up my Bsnl BB. I am not tech savvy as far as BB is concerned, quite naive to be frank but fortunately my connection speed improved since posting my request without me doing anything. hopefully it could be an exchange problem. My BB record using MY Broadband speed is as follows:
