Is it true that they don't give shared static ip anymore. And that they now give dynamic ips and not shared? And the ports are open too? So theoretically you can get around 3mbps on torrents if signal is strong?

Yes, that is what I heard last time. But ask for a demo at your place and confirm.

No, the BSNL site says " using EVDO Cards with surfing speed upto 2.4 Mbps ". So something around 2 Mbps will be available.
If u get about 1 mbps at your place go for it, cheapest plan for unlimited downloading @750 it has....
Thanks for the answers.
If ip changes each time I reconnect, its dynamic but how will I know if the ip isn't already in use?But ask for a demo at your place and confirm.
For open ports, I guess I can use the port checker from portforward.com
Welcome

Didn't get you
Me too using a plan with dynamic IP, never faced any issue till date because of dynamic IP.

There are many port checker tools available. There are also some online tools which can tell you the status of your ports.
I meant to ask if it's still possible to assign me an ip that is already being used by someone else at that time? In that case it will be dynamic but shared at the same time. I dont really know how shared ip works, so I'm guessing maybe it isn't possible to give the same ip to 2 people on the go that is they have to bind it with the device earlier? So, dynamic can't be a shared ip right?
The only problem i see with online port checkers is they want me to be using the port at that time.

From what I heard, your IP will be only used by you for that session.
thank you very much
