Your plan's FUP is at 8 GB.

the first few days i got very gud speed about 100-120 kbps when downloading

Bt now am having very slow speed js about 20-40 kbps

Is it Kbps or KBps ? How did you measure the speed ?

If it 120 KBps, better talk to SDE of your exchange. It must be something wrong at exchange. Also try using a different modem.

NO. You will not get 256 KBps, you will get 256 kbps (=32 KBps).

i checked my speed at - speedtester.bsnl.co.in nd it said my speed was 180 kbps.

Your speed should be 256 kbps not 180 kbps. From next month you will again get your
    1 Mbps=128 KBps=1024 kbps till 8 GB and after 8 GB you will get 1/4 Mbps=32 KBps=256 kbps.

After 8GB, speed will be only 256 Kbps (32 KBps)

i checked my speed at - speedtester.bsnl.co.in nd it said my speed was 180 kbps.

    180 Kbps = 22.5 KBps

nd wat do u mean by 120KBps?? ( srry i dint get u thats y)

    120 KBps = 960 Kbps ~ 1024 Kbps which is 1 Mbps

pls helpp.. will i get my old speed back frm ncxt mnth onwards..

Yes, unless there is some error, you will get the 1 Mbps from 1st of next month.
