    Default Help Me Out..

    Hi All,

I stay at Moti Nagar @ Hyderabad. Currently hav a 256kbps Airtel Connection. I get a max speed of upto 32kbps. This is a limited one upto 1 GB but is unlimited at nights.

Now as per requirement I need a 512kbps connection (preferably unlimited@nights). I've checked out these two broadband plans in BSNL.

    Home 1000 - 384kbps Upto 2Mbps - 5Gb - Night Unlimited
    Home 1800 - 512kbps Upto 2Mbps -10Gb - Night Unlimited

    Now coming to my queries...

    a) I need to know what are the minimum speeds that we usually get in both Home 1000 and 1800 plans?
    b) Why did he say 'Upto 2Mbps'. Do we actually get such speed?
    c) How would be the service at my area? Are those guys responsive enough?

Please suggest me in making the right move. Right now, Airtel Service has been really good. Will i get such service from BSNL too?? Help me out guys..

    Ans. a) Min speed in Home 1000 - 48kBps max 256kBps
    Home 1800 - 64kBps max 256kBps
    b) Bsnl offers a line of 2Mbps to each of its dataone subscriber .. the min speed of ur connection depends on ur plan and the max can go upto 256kBps i.e. 2Mbps and it depends on network congestion
    c) Dont know about the service in ur area but bsnl has proved tat it is literally the internet backbone of india .. bsnl roxxx !! (and airtel suxxx )
    lolz

I m a Home 500 user and my monthly d/l is over 100Gbs/month with no xtra bills .. Courtesy : BSNL
