    Default Setting up broadband network

I have BSNL broadband plan and am using Terracom wireless router . The telephone cable is connected to Terracom router.

I also have a Pronet 54M wireless router . I want to set up a network of computers in two different adjoining rooms using these two routers. In both rooms I have BSNL RJ11 land line connection for the same common phone number. The distance between the rooms is 90 feet.
The Pronet router does not have RJ11 connector.

Please suggest how can I do it.

Multiple connections cannot be setup the way you are thinking.

Please read some of the guides in the "Broadband - How to" section. Look at the sticky post right at the top.

    Not possible: with present units.
Connect Rj45 from LAN1 of Teracom wifi router to WAN port of Pronet.
    ( RJ45 maximum 100 meters possible)

Try application "connectify" in one laptop having wlan card
( limited range ) ( Windows OS only)

    Para two:
Two wifi routers having WDS/WDM option can be tried ( without Rj45 connection ).

Or if the Antenna is detachable a 5 dBi antenna can be tried.
( Check TP link web site/s)

I did it. It was simple. I just extended a Lan cable from one room to another and plugged it from the first room router to 2nd room router and it just worked.

Please Update your knowledge base. Whatever the theory says may be different. But his is what I have done practically.

    @ deepakdeshp ji,

What you have done is exactly what essbebe suggested. Please help us understand what you have done differently and what exactly in his/our knowledge base needs updating.

I thought it was told to me that I couldnt do it. But I have done it as explained. If it was already suggested to me, I am sorry I missed it.

Please add whatever I did to KB . but of course you need not do it if it was already suggested to me.
