see this link and check 3 in 1 models.

Mention the radius of activity/ height involved.

    2.
    For ZXDSL831Aii
give the connection status report for fault location.
If it works in stable manner, a stand alone wifi router will do.

    3. Mention your budget.

4.Present Landline based adsl BB connection. A wifi router can be used.

    5. If you opt for WIFI based data card 3G etc , check link above.

    Advice withdrawn !!!!

The Price of LR6111A is approx Rs 1250/=
    http://www.naaptol.com/price/692959-...ed-Router.html
The cost of wifi model Wr6111A exceeds Rs 3400/=
A standalone wifi router for about Rs 1400/ can be purchased later if needed.
Other makes 3 -in 1 including Dlink cost below Rs 2500 or so
    Select models and compare prices.

    Lightbulb Wireless router for UTR300

I also want to buy a wireless router and might go for Netgear WGR614 (will order from flipkart costing 1495/-). I've UTR300U modem from BSNL.

I want to have wired connection for desktop and wireless connection for my phone and my playbook.

    Any thoughts on this, please?

Asus DSL N10 Modem is the best Wi Fi modem. Easy to setup and with 5dbi Antenna you can access your modem in 100 Meeter of radius. And it cost from Rs. 2500 (in My city it cost 2900). I am using this modem since last 6 months on BSNL BB with UL499 plan. It works flawlessly with Not only BSNL but all other ADSL service Providers. It has preinstalled all the ADSL service provider's settings. Just connect the telephone line. Modem recognize the setting and company and assign automatically settings to the device. You have to enter UN and PW only.
