    @Gourab
I think BB Home Combo ULD 900 is a better plan for high speed. It gives u 4Mbps upto 8 GB and 256Kbps beyond that. I'm also in the UL750 plan but already thinking of changing it to the Combo ULD 900 as with just 150 Rs more I'm getting 4Mbps speed.

May be you can decide based on your usage. If you are a heavy user then u can opt for other plans with lesser speed and higher limit like ULD 850.

8 gigs is not much as far as downloading is concern. After 8 GB its speed will come down all the way to 256 KBps!!I think BSNL should bring some variety on unlimited plans...what say guys??

I prefer to stick with UL plans..always keeps you free,no tension on unbilled usage.I had that combo plan,I found 2.5GB is too little for me as I need to browse for so many stuffs like online video tuts, downloads.

Just moved from 750 UL plan to 1350 Plan for 4Mbps till 20 gb and after that 512 speed. Its a good plan giving good speeds and decent speeds even after crossing the 20 GB mark.

Yes just shifted to this plan from 2nd Jan, speeds are good, no issues as of now, and after 20 GB limit is crossed the speed becomes 512 kbps

You have to ask your BB section in Exchange to change the PORT.
If FUP is enforced, complaints are posted that the speed remains at lower speed even on 1st.

    Thumbs up

That's right, also register on self care portal to track usage real time. I got my portal id and i am checking the usage online on a regular basis. Also if after 1st the speed does not change you would need to call and ask them to reset the profile to get back 4Mbps speeds.

Why I am getting this error while check usage details at dada.bsnl.in

" This error may prevent further successful operations. Please logout and try to login after some time. If the problem still persists, please contact System Administrator."

Is it only me facing this?or someone else also facing this problem??

    Default Best plan for Broadband

BSNL offers 600 combo plan. i consider it to the best plan amongst all other BSNL plans and among other service providers too...

This plan offers 2Mbps (256 KBps) speed throughout day and night. It provides 2.5 GB data transfer in day time. You can make 250 free calls monthly. Plus since this is a combo plan, you dont have to pay any monthly rental for your landline.... The most important thing is that this plan gives you 6 hrs of unlimited download at 2Mbps from 2AM to 8AM.

On an average day i download 4 - 4.5 GB data in this 6 hours! So in a month you can download 130GB+ data free of cost @ 2Mbps!

If you compare this plan with other unlimited plans. say Unlimited 900, then you'll get 8GB @ 2Mbps. After that usage your speed is turned down to only 256kbps!!! You can download 8GB in a single day but for rest of the month you'll be using bandwidth of only 256Kbps.

The only plan that provides you same speed download throught is UL 3300 (i.e. Rs. 3300/- per month!!!) but again it has a capping of 150 GB beyond that speed is turned down to 512Kbps.

So i find it quite economical to use Home Combo 600 plan.

Regarding the download timings- you can implements downloading softwares like torrentz, DAP, etc and schedule your downloads for the night. then just keep your PC running and go to bed. The next morning when you wake up all your downloads would be complete!!!
