Thread: Finally BSNL Broadband not to give connection after 27 days of wait

After listen no from bsnl broadband officer NO word i am very sad and feel like i am in forest where only i live.
I applied for BSNL landline connection ( for broadband use ). they take so much time around 27 days and today i receive a call of bsnl of my area they told me that. sorry we not gave you a connection as in your area not possible. Bla bla bla................ ( SHUT UP u dumb Fellow ).
Even my cousions who lived in too rural village area they have bsnl landline connection.And i lived in town ( semi urban area ). still not get connection.
i emailed many bsnl officer whos email id i found in net ( but sadly no one reply all are busy either in honeymoon or counting of money )..
no other isp present in my area except bsnl broadband.I want some 512Kbps constant connection speed for my study. But all are now my dream.
i am from orissa.
so friends help me if u have any contact with bsnl senior officers.Or gave email ids who can respond to my query.

dont use mail ids. i will suggest you to talk to nodal officer personally or on phone.

Do you have any bank or other govt. institution that requires net connection. if yes then it means BSNL can give net connection there.

if broadband is not possible go for bsnl wimax

Go For BSNL EVDO connection. It will give you more speed than the 512 kbps connection.

1. Is EVDO and WIMAX are wireless ??
2. Will the use bsnl 3G tower ??
3. Will they provide same upload nad download speed same as bsnl 3G ??

my need is want constant good upload speed for my project. more than 30KBs is enough.
but bnsl 3G give 16KBs max upload speed with dissconnect as it is wireless.

what sre the max upload speed of Wimax and Evdo ? And is it available every area? or every area where Bsnl 3g Is present.

wimax is wireless and has separate towers which are located at exchange and it has no relation with 3g.

since wimax has limited users it will give you better speed. you can ask them for demo at your house before taking connection

1. Yes Both EVDO and WIMAX are wireless.
2. No EVDO uses CDMA tower and Wimax has some special tower.
3. No. They will not give same speeds as 3G. EVDO gives download speed upto
3.1 MBPS whereas WIMAX gives download speed of 512 kbps both at the rate
of 750/- Unlimited.

I personally use EVDO which gives me upload speed of about 256 kbps
(32KBPS) to 400 kbps(50 KBPS). Don't know about WIMAX but i have heard
that its upload speed aren't that great. Plus you get more than four times
download speed on EVDO than WIMAX buy paying the same price. Also
EVDO supports National Roaming that WIMAX doesn't.
