Thread: how to unlock bsnl modem(type2 adsl2+cpe+iad)

hello frnds, i dnt have bsnl land line connection here, so i want to use my modem as normal router like dlink etc. but how can i change settings in bsnl router and and unlock it. iam using network from local providers.i have laptop and desktop. so i want to use both laptop and desktop by using this router. please guide me for unlocking and making changes, to make it as common router(like dlink-regular router for any network).

Mention the local Network BB provider. ( No modem supplied ?)
Mention model Name Number of BSNL supplied modem.
Or.
Check Device Device Info page. Hardware board version.

I think rj_rajkumar want to using his router as a switch if that ADSL CPE has more then one port.

Agree. But a standalone wifi router preferred.
Present BB provider details also needed. TIKONA has been difficult to set.
Better to get full details from this thread starter.!!
