As soon as you start the system Press key F7 or F8 to get start menu.
Try Safe mode. Remove the USBcard/modems etc.
    .Mention OS used.
    Give error number displayed.
Windows XP Blue Screen of Death STOP Codes - Geeks to Go Forums
    RAM problem mentioned.
A disk read error. Remove any CD from CD /DVD drive. Unlikely your Harddisk has crashed.
For format , Hope you have the WindowsOS installation CD

    Feedback.

In such a case taking the "Box" to the mechanic (authorised dealer etc) is recommended.
It is not very big case. He is missing login for O.S...

by the way press f8 and select ( change to previous settings) and see if it works..

    do reply here..

I read both your posts but I don't really get what your problem is..
You got blue screen and you restarted the computer, then you got some disk error. You got it repaired (did you mean this?) and tried to reinstall xp but you still get disk error? Is this what happened?
Maybe you could try reseting your BIOS. Switch off the computer completely, take off the cell near the bios and insert it again. Switch on the computer and see if it can access your hdd now..

btw i didn't know crashed hard disks could be repaired..

ok i am trying to get this..
    1. poster's hard disk was damaged.
    2. he claimed under warranty period got it repaired (must be a small fault somewhere).
    3. poster got another hard disk failure now.
    4. try go mechanic. if its under warranty period go to your dealer.
