Thread: Installation charges

Dear Sir,
I have applied for a BSNL BB connection at sangvi in Pune.I have a modem and i can install the connection myself.But the BSNL guys are insisting their vendor only will install and a payment of Rs 250/- shall be paid to them,and they have not given me any allotment letter yet.Is this autharised or are they are trying to make some quick buck.Whom should I complain to? Please help

Even if you get exemption from installation
charges, be prepared for frequent disruptions in the BB
connection, and BSNL will decline to attend the fault/s claiming
installation was not done by them.

Hope you have the ADSL splitter also and cables.( at least one
Rj11 and rj45) If the modem was purchased new all should be available ( mention model make )

Agree and ask them to include in the Telephone bill.!!!
or ask whether cheque payment will be accepted !
Vendor's franchise will be terminated , if you make a complaint to Vigilance cell.

Look out for some other ISP for ADSL Broadband connection.!!

also same here umbraj (Satara) i said to officer i dont want installation i well do my self . officer said u do self but u want pay 250 rs installation charges

I am sorry made a mistake.
Installation charges have to be paid. ( some circles waive it. Chennai circle for promotional offer )
BSNL staff will come and check with their own modem/laptop. or come with preconfigured BSNL supply modem.
