Thread: Home UL 750 Download Speed?

Hai Friends,
I am Sam from Kolkata.
I took BSNL Broadband Connection last Wednesday and took UL 750 plan.
I get download speed in IDM 53kbps and torrent speed 51kbps.
Am I getting the right sort download speed or not.
If not then what should I do?

From next month I will shift to BBG FN Combo 600 plan that gives high speed unlimited download from 2am to 8am. As am a heavy down loader.

the speed that you are getting is ok and it is 53KBPS not 53kbps

1KBPS=8kbps

I think you are getting promised speeds

None of these plans are for "heavy downloaders".

what is the upload speed are you getting??

My Download Speed in My Broadband Test is 499 kbps (62.4kB/s) and Upload speed is 387 kbps (48.4kB/s)....

u should take rs 500 night unlimited plan it is the best

If you are a heavy downloader and are very careful about night usage, you should go with the BBG FN Combo 600 plan.

But you must make sure that modem actually reboots/restarts at 2:05 AM or later and once again at 7:55 AM or earlier. Basically the 5 minutes are a grace in case your computer clock is not exactly in sync with BSNL clock. Fail to do this and you will end up with a huge bill to pay.
