    Default all lights green on modem but no internet

    hello, i have a bsnl teracom t2-b-gawv1.4u10y-bi modem. all my lights are green but the internet light is glowing red. i have complained to the Customer care as well the exchange but they say its fine from there end and that they check my line. its been 7 days now and its still glowing red. i have check the configuration and its fine. what could be wrong? please help.

    You will have to visit the Exchange personally and yell at the Manager there, otherwise nobody will come and help.

    How you connect to Internet?
    Change mode to PPPoE ( ID/PW stored in modem/router)
    or Dialer( Bridged in WAN page.
    Are you connecting in wifi mode ?
    Check Diagnostics page ( if available ) for error report.

    solved. i went to exchange, they said my port got jammed. gave me new port.

    Then how did they say your BB connection is O.K at their end earlier ?
    Usually when you make a complaint they test the connection to
    NIB servers with your USERID and PW. connecting to your telephone number/line.

    thats exactly what i asked them, they said customers have a main port in the main exchange and one in the exchange which covers the area/colony i stay. So i went to main exchange to check and it was working(they showed me the broadband username etc to prove it), then the JTO Broadband took me to the sub exchange to check it and it was not working. they checked my port in the sub exchange and it was jammed.

    Confirmed. Same thing happened to me.
    Since morning No connection. All Ok . Data led also flashing etc.
    Made auto recorded Broadband section complaint in 1504. at 0700AM

    1145AM
    The line man who was confirming the telephone
    line is Ok suggested contacting . JTO (BB) and gave his CELLPHONE number !
    Connection restored within 2 minutes!!
    My complaint earlier booked on 2nd Feb/2012 still not closed !!
