Thread: Wifi connection problems on Asus Eee PC 1015 PX

Respected Members ! i had bought a Asus Eee PC 1015 PX for my father pre-installed with win 7 starter pack. My wifi network is visible in netbook. I am able to connect my android on wifi. but netbook is not connecting and gives error windows was unable to connect SSID. i had placed open security on ZTE ADSL 531 B. Any insight from senior members will be helpful. Thanks for your kind attention. Regards.

Check DHCP enabled and range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10
In Netbook obtain Ip address automatically. Check same settings in ASUS.
Check Mac address filter is disabled.
Any button for UpnP enable it. Else ignore this.
Interchange ADSl input from Asus to laptop. and test.

Thanks Sir for your help. I was having Mac filter enabled in modem. When i added Mac filter of netbook in modem. Voila ! It was connected to wifi.
