Thread: PPP PASSWORD INVALID Beetel 450tc1 BSNL

Hi, I have this unique problem here... i have this beetel 450tc1 wifi modem which i have connected with BSNL BB..however it works fine sometimes..but wenever the modem is restarted for some reason the dsl light comes on solid orange but the internet light dsnt come on...wen i go to the router status page it shows ...PPP PASSWORD INVALID...i dont have to change the password because after 15 to 20 mins it starts working again... the problem is most of the time in this case i dnt get gud speed...i have to restart again n again so that i get a gud speed..people from BSNL came and said that the modem needs a 12v adapter whereas im using a 5v adapter..is it possible that this problem is caused due to the adapter?? kindly help..

Possible. What is the current rating 5V 1 Amp ? ( reqd 12V 700 ma ) Beetel 110TCI need 5VDc/1Amp
If Leds glow brightly no need.or you use only a single computer.
If needed i can test mine and give feedback later.
Presently on 110BXI.
said that the modem needs a 12v adapter whereas im using a 5v adapter.

Deactivate all PVC's Except PVC0 VPI/VCI as 0 and 35. enter other data
If error message comes change other PVC to random value.
Status page defaults to PVC0 usually.All pages PVC0 to PVC7) will show snr atttn data!
Select GDMT as mod mode.

Thanks for replying...at the bottom of the modem..it says output 12V 700 ma...as i said the problem is intermittent... im using User Discovered DNS Server only in DNS Relay...where im using open dns..and i cudnt find GDMT...like rite now im getting gud speed n no issues..but at times this PPP PASSWORD INVALID thing happens.. help please.

Ensure Phones are Connected to the ADSL Splitter PHONE port only. Check cables
