    Confirmed Mac address filter has ben disabled.
    wild try: makes nom difference !!!
    in LAN page change keys to 3 OUI and vendor
    ( no name )

    from ipconfig /all check the wlan card MAC address.
    Confirm what is entered is correct. But disable it.

    Erased the Radial server settings, disabled the mac filter. In the LAN page changed the OUI value from 1 -> 3 & Vendor ID from DHCP6 to <blank>. Still no luck, after a restart with the current settings

    Red face

    Essbebe,
    I think we will be downgrading the firmware I believe from TM4-0Q-025 to TM4-0Q-020 or TM4-0Q-016 to make the Wi-Fi work. This is at my own risk and I full adhere to it .

    Let us first back up the present firmware TM4-0Q-025 and then proceed with firmware upgrade/downgrade. Can we get the latest firmware at beetel website or any support site ?

    1. How to back up the present firmware or get it from some website?
    2. Where to get the older version of firmware, I tried both the links and they are down. Do you have stored it locally ?

    yes. I have some *.ras files . and FW versions mixed up for 450TCI Binatone 220Bx etc.
    I think TM4-0Q-020 available !!
    will check up and upload elsewhere. and will give the link..
    suggest an Upload link other than Rapidshare.
    Sorry.
    I do not know how to back up the existing FW of any modem.

    Essbebe,
    You can upload at filestube or 4shared or mediafire and provide me a link I will download it here. Do I need to take the present firmware backup by some means ? Since after firmware downgrade we should not end up in even the LAN mode in a non-working condition.

    Please provide your inputs. If TM4-0Q-020 is stable and will fix Wi-Fi based on your previous experience, then we will go ahead with FW changes.

    Download TM4-0Q-008.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
    try this version and give feedback. at your own risk
    In this model if a wrong file is loaded error message will be given.

    Essbebe,
    Isn't this a very old version of the FW ? *008 ? I thought you would upload *020. Is it worth doing the FW changes with *008. I know its at my own risk .

    Talking

    This calls for a party !! Hurray, I downgraded to TM4-OQ-020 and Wi-Fi auth type was editable. I set a Auth key for WAP2-PSK and Bang I am on Wireless now. Thanks a lot to you Essbebe, your Valuable inputs helped to resolve this issue and also for the firmware, it worked. I thought my investment was into deep waters when I took this modem to BSNL office locally. This forum helped to get out of the problem.

    Thank you again Essbebe !! You made my day

    @admin
    Please consider Folder for uploading firmwares/manuals / quick install guide
    etc file size not exceeding say 3 or 4 MB.

    @raveebhat69

    Please update present position and post details of the Firmware version of your model.
    Check FW availability; Official Airtel web site if available.
