Unhappy Modern Warfare 3(PS3) On BSNL with NETGEAR N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router

Okay so previously i had Airtel Broadband with a 512 kbps WiFi Connection and had absolutely no problems playing MW3 multiplayer on my PS3. Yesterday I switched to BSNL Broadband 512 kbps on my newly configured NETGEAR N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router using the settings from the forum itself. (I cant post the link since I'm new to the forum) Everything works perfect, like browsing and everything else. Even PSN works and downloading PSN games, trailers etc. Only when I load up MW3's Multiplayer and select "Online" it says 'Connecting' and then 'Fetching Online Profile' and it justs stays there for like 5 minutes and then pops a message saying "Call of Duty servers are not available at this time." Okay then i tried the same thing with Airtel again, it worked flawlessly no problems at all. It only doesn't seem to work with BSNL. What seems to be the problem? Should i forward some ports? My NAT status is OPEN so I guess that shouldn't cause any problems right?

    PLEASE HELP.

Did you make changes in settings for Airtel in same NetGear Model ? ( DGN1000?)

You can upload screenshots and give the link here omitting http; /www ( No space dots etc )

Umm well I had the default Beetel 450 BXI WiFi router that i got when i subscribed for the Airtel connection and I use the new Netgear Router for BSNL. Both connections are active as of now but I plan to use the BSNL one mainly because the pricing and plans are way better. But yes apart from that there are some sites i can't access mostly DNS errors i guess :/

IN DGN 1000 Advanced options WAN change MTU value to 1460 or 1430 and try.

    2. You can select line 0_35 for Bsnl in Beeetel 450BXI for Bsnl connection also. for Airtel Line 1_32
Change only the RJ 11 cable.
    WIFI same ssid will work.
see my signature link WA3002-g4 ( same model)

I looked around the net a little bit about MTU and i changed it to 1455. The sites that never seemed to open before are opening now. Thanks a ton! And i'll try the PS3 in a bit. Power's outage :sad face:

If you had set the modem router selecting line 1_32 for Airtel
In same WAN page select Line 0_35 Click EDIT next
usual settings and enter Bsnl ID/PW etc
    DNS auto select.
    SAVE
Mangement SAVE reboot. wait for 2 minutes.
Now change the Rj11 to Bsnl telephone line.
    Bsnl should work.
As it is change Rj11 to airtel telephone line Airtel should work.
    confirm in Diagnostics page.

No link with my previous post No 7.
    1.
Confirm you can now use Beetel 450BXI for both Airtel and BSNL connections by changing the Rj11 cable. from telephone line/s.
    2.
Confirm still same problem when connected to BSNL with Beetel450BXI router.

Okay yes confirmed 1. I can use BSNL with my 450 BXI provided by Airtel. Your settings worked flawlessly
    2. There are absolutely no problems while using BSNL connections on the 450 BXI. PSN connects, MW3 works brilliantly. It doesn't get stuck up at the "Fetching Online Profile" and time out and all of that. It just works just as good as Airtel used to.

But now, what about my NETGEAR N150 Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Router? I just spent about Rs 3000/- on it and well i want to use it. Don't want it to lie around in the dust. Any help?

I wish i could Rep+ you but its not letting me :P

Not this page. No need to blank the IP address.
Anyway it will change next time you switch on the router.
I may also access the router settings ONLINE ( if not firewalled )

And how would you do that? And feel free to look around the router settings and make any changes.

    Sorry > LUNCH ..
Upload Router status screen shot and post link as PM .

    Update OK;

    RECAP DGN1000 :MW3 multiplayer on PS3
works with Airtel but not with BSNL.

If all web sites are opening properly, No MTU change considered.
Try in LAN mode.Netgear for Bsnl.
If interested you can use NGDGN1000 as a modem only. and try
( In dialer mode entering ID/PW externally) wifi mode lost.

    2. Solution : ( Lunch and sleep helped for idea !!!)

Connect Beetel 450BXI for BSNL connection. (Post No 10. not used earlier )
Connect Netgear DGN1000 for Airtel connection as per post No 1.

    Para two:
Except for auto DNS , and making Port forward for this application, I can not give any other option now.

    Please await other members suggestions.

I considered solution 2 before, but i shall be disconnecting the Airtel line soon enough. So they'll also be taking the 450 BXI along with them, as stated by them in a phone call. So in a matter of days I'll be stuck with the Netgear router itself. And well LAN mode also works fine i guess. I tried entering the ID/PWD separately also. It works fine on the PC, like all the normal browsing and stuff. What i need is WiFi so that my PS3 can access it. :/
Ugh I'm beginning to think that the Netgear Router isn't configured properly.

I tried entering the ID/PWD separately also.
    Where ?
    Confirm in system(computer ) window."dialer".
Did wifi also work ? ( except for this application ?)

Check in Netgear website any FW upgrade suggested.
