Confirm you get connected automatically.
Meaning PPPoE mode ( YourID/PW stored in router ethernet wan page )
Check idle time set up button ( if seen ) it should be zero.
Ensure all Phones connected only to the ADSL splitter.
Mention OS ( Operating System Windows 7 /XP/Vista etc ) used.

my other modem dna a211-1 working smoothly no error only i have problem with asus dsl n10

just now i run it but failed to connect the site with asus



i want to know it is hardware problem ie heating or other or setting or firmware problem

Just now checked Video/s of similar models.

Except for changing DNS to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 ,
i cannot find/suggest other settings for this problem.
(b)
What is the value of MTU selected ?? try 1460
(c)
Could be Power adapter problem.
(d)
if possible return and get another unit in Exchange.
(e)
A firmware upgrade from official website if the model is old.
and no exchange possible.

I think this is the easiest model to get connected to Internet . Even by a
beginner.
Para two:
Computer side: windows 7 Pro 64 bit ( same as mine )
Since all normal with DNA 212-I, no point in checking computer settings.
When you get the disconnection select the LAN/wlan icon in Taskbar status

( No internet connection on top)
Select Diagnose. What error message you get ?

Dear Essbebe,my brother recently connects to WiFi to ASUS DSL N-10 it works fine a few weeks but after that the wireless light does not blink is there a hardware problem? however the modem works well with WiFi the only problem is the WiFi led is not blinking its just OFF till now.

any switch WPS wireless protection system in the rear of the unit ?
By chance activated?
