Thread: error 651 in win 7 while using bsnl bb

im gettng error 651 "your connecting device or modem is not responding" when i diagnose my bsnl bb connectio in my win 7 system.im using beetel 450tc1adsl 2+router and in its status it s ip address subnet mask and dns server are blank and status is not connected so plz help me to resolve ths prblm

Windows 7 Error 651 ( usually in Dialer Mode
Change to PPPoE ( in Internet page) enter your id/PW
and confirm you get connected to Internet automatically.
You have to create a new LAN network.
Presume you know settings for Beetel450TCI.

i tried pppoe but it dosnt work it still shows the same error and i cant connect to internet i will try downgrading the firmware. thaks for ur suggetions

It's a problem at bsnl's side.
When my windows first showed 651 error, I tried resetting the modem and in ppoe mode. I also tried in ubuntu after resetting the modem but didn't work.
