    Default BSNL Boradband - PPPoE or WAN user name and password - How to get it

    Hi,

    I have BSNL Broadband connection.
    I would like to replace existing BSNL ADSL modem with Belkin N150.
    I need log-in name and password to enable PPPoE. Please suggest how to get this.

    Give the present adsl mode make/model/number.
    Appears you are on PPPoE mode ( USERID/PW entered /stored in the WAN
    settings page of your modem ) Or how do you connect now ?
    Contact CC of your Exchange and give your Telephone number and ask
    for the userid/PW.
    If the Belkins N150 is aWIFI router only you can configure without entering
    ID/PW.
    Give the model number of Belkins unit.

    to get the username and password from your adsl modem
    1. simply type in the url

    192.168.1.1

    2. then enter
    username admin
    password admin (or may be 'password' will be the password)

    you router page will open
    3. then in user interface setup tab find Virtual Circuit with VPI 0 and VCI 35

    4.now go down you will find your username and password is usually password

    username: idXXXXXXXXXXXX_ecdrid (XXXXXXXXXXX = ur area code number + phone number)(do not prefix 0 to your area code number)
    password = Password (by default)(unless you have changed it)
