    1) Check the IP address of your cable modem - probably 192.168.1.1 (and is the address you access its config menu on)

    2) Check that DHCP is turned on in the cable modem, and set the DHCP address pool to 192.168.1.10 to 192.168.1.255

    3) In the WiFi modem check the IP address - it may also be 192.168.1.1, which is a recipe for trouble - change it to something between 192.168.1.2 and 192.168.1.9 - to make my life easier I normally give my routers sequential addresses, so in my case the cable router is 192.168.1.1 and my WiFi router is 192.168.1.2. This will resolve address conflict between the two routers.

    4) Ensure that DHCP in the WiFi router is turned OFF - this will make the WiFi router pass any DHCP requests it gets back to the cable router rather than serving them itself, ie., there must only be one device in your network that is issuing IP addresses and that way there will be no conflicts.

    5) If you have any devices such as network connected printer(s) or NAS devices that require a fixed IP address, you can handle this one of two ways - if your cable router has an option for reserving IP address allocations, add the MAC address and desired IP address of the device to the reserved/fixed/static address table (the address must be within the range of the DHCP pool specified in step 2). This will ensure that the specified IP address is only ever allocated to the intended device and is the more elegant and easiest to implement/maintain solution. If, on the other hand, your cable router doesn't have this feature then you will need to manually set static IP information in each device ie., IP address, gateway address, possibly DNS addresses and mask - if you have to go this way than use an IP address outside the DHCP pool (otherwise the address can also be allocated to another device dynamically, resulting in a conflict) - in the example I've given you would use another address from the 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.9 range eg., 192.168.1.3.

In this example I've assumed 192.168.1.x as the default address space for your setup, but I'm sure you can work out the necessary changes to my examples if your setup is different. You can also alter the upper and lower boundaries of the DHCP pool if you want as well.

One thing I forgot to mention - mask values (where there's an option to set them) should be 255.255.255.0 or 255.255.0.0, either will work with what I've described.

if my wifi is enabled in the modem, the modem goes into reboot loop like 7to 8 times and it gets stable after 15 minutes of reboot loop nothing changes even if i reset the modem or do the power on/off,so i disabled my wifi and then connect through lan without any reboots, the modem is stable and i can connect to the internet easily, wifi is creating havoc and can't connect to the wifi network on laptop,if i connect it then it goes into reboot loop with wifi light blinking unstable way ,i am using 1 laptop

Reduce the Power to say 40% and check.

    2. Also you could test in PPPoE mode ( ID/PW stored in WAN settings page )
    3. If QoS button enabled Uncheck it.
    4. Do you have PortMapping menu?
    5. Mention OS used.
If you post your IP may be i can check the settings. ( In LAN mode setting No wifi )

May be you are having a firewall. Unable to access.
    Slowly increase to 50 % then 60 % 70 % etc
Check ssid in laptop.. ( Hope "Hide Access Point" button is not selected )
get the point where problem starts again.
Fault probably in your Power adapter.

Uncheck button adsl2+ in Advanced options DSL. Bitswap enabled.
Uncheck tr_069 client in Management if enabled.
Recheck ADSL statistics with wifi mode. enabled.

(a)Fault could be internal in the wireless board
    (b) Power adapter Power capacitor leaky.
    (c) Except in Windows 7 OS LAN cable cannot be
kept connected to LAN ethernet port when switching to WIFI.
