Thread: option for bsnl braodband

i have fed up with bsnl customer service.my phone and broadband service goes dead every week.i have 750ul combo now.what are the option for me here in patna ,after i disconnect bsnl ?.i want unlimited connection with upto 1000 rs monthly. also with good customer care.

Try a complaint to ALL INDIA site.

You can talk directly to JTO or AE Broadband to correct the problem.
Or you can escalate the poblem.

If you really fedup with bsnl, try to see if reliance is available. Reliance is good
or search for a local broadband private operator

i tried to call higher BSNL officers but either their telephone numbers (as in telephone directory & website) are invalid or keeps on ringing (either false ring or they don't pickup).calling in exchange,fortunately if someone pick up.they always reply that the problem will be solved without listening to complete problem and disconnect.

You call 1504 for BB problems and ask for the complaint number.
Here in Chennai it is automatic registration of complaint. You have a choice to
ask for personal assistance also, and most likely you get music or disconnection!!
After a day or two BSNL staff call me to confirm fault has been removed

calling 1504 is the normal procedure. i am writing here after doing all this .how will i file complaint when my phone is dead ???.its a recurring problem.i have submit a complaint again after 2-3 days.they will call and tell you problem is fixed and wait for sometime.but the problem (like dial tone gone ,link unstable ,frequent disconnection ) again come back.
like right now a technician has come to fix my unstable adsl link.he told me that he has checked at exchange and there is no problem there.he told me that my modem is faulty by showing that adsl link is on ,on his modem.but the problem is that he just waited for 5 min with his modem plugged in.link goes off continously or sometimes net works and then goes off .
i have registered at the website.

Give details of your modem/router. number model/make.
If possible report SNR/ATTN values

Why don't you opt for BSNL EVDO connection...it gives more speed than the Brodband 512 KBPS plan...And you will also get free from any wire problem....I am too from Bihar and I am using EVDO....its awesome..
I too used to face the same problem of cutting of cable every few days...because my home was a bit far from exchange...

Any option for mod mode selection in your modem?
Adsl2 Gdmt adsl2 +etc ? Select GDMT. Reboot. Recheck values.
Reconnect adsl splitter and all Phones to Phone port,
and report data again as attachment screen shot.
Data given not clear. typing mistake ??

connecting ADSL splitter and phones.
Also enter google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. in Network LAN page.

Check REMOTE SNR after each tweak.

Apply Save

in computer :
Start RUn type cmd Ok

type ipconfig /all
Confirm dns data.

after setting dns in lan properties. remote snr is 16 db.
