Default Asus DSL N10 MTU values.

Confirm which modem/router you were using earlier, without any problem.
Would you like/make a REGISTRY entry change in your desktop/laptop.?

Wow, okay, I have finally figured it out 3 weeks of hunting.
Turns out the MTU setting in the router is irrelevant, in the RT-N56U anyway. The issue lies in Windows 7's own MTU setting, I am running Ultimate x64, and Business x64. I am not sure if the other flavours have the same issue, but if they do here is how to fix it.

Change your MTU under Vista or Windows 7 richard-slater.co.uk

Follow directions from that link step by step and you should be trouble free. The above fix work on both my machines. Post if it worked/didn't work for you.

This model already in use and working normal for BSNL.
Just check the MTU value entered in ZTE model.
( usually vlue seen in WAN settings page, some modems not available )
and enter same value in asus router.
This is usually a MTU problem .

    2
START RUN type cmd new window type
    ping www.yahoo.com.com -f -l 1432
try different values till packets are not lost.

    3.
you can find the MTU in WAN/Internet Setting page,
select PPPoE connection and in next web page,
you can see the MTU value. try 1400 or 1432

Try disabling IPV6 in Firefox, if you are using Firefox, it may help. For disabling IPV6 type "about:config" (without qoutes, of course) in browser, then search for iPV6, ("network.dns.disableipv6") and set it to true.

Better idea will be to upload ( attach) additional screen shots in this thread.
with settings you made. wait ......searching link

http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...t=Asus+DSL+N10 (Asus DSLRT-N10 settings and screenshots.)

or if you prefer open a new thread.
ASUS DSL RTN10 Screenshots by @Core
    with brief additional instructions.

Appears you cannot attach screenshots here now. ( temporary action)
You may have to Upload say at imgur.or tinypic or imageshack or Photobucket etc. and post the links.
