    Mention modem model/router/number in use
    Mention your ISP:
    Tariff plan;
    Your torrent APPLICATION.
    go to Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model - PortForward.com
    Select your router./application from the list/s
    Make changes. Try
    Give feedback repost problem in concerned ISP forum.

    Sometime/s wikipedia entries are not updated. 0r out of date.

    Please take such entries with a pinch of salt. A good number of people do not forward their ports properly and hence they experience slow speeds while downloading. Of course, they then put the blame on the ISPs. All the ISPs within India enforce some or other form of throttling mechanisms.

    @poster

    bsnl takes money for the best... you may not get speed but you get enough data..
    meanwhile there is no "good isp in India", which serves customers very well. there is reliance which is a looter, airtel has FUPs, Tata is pathetic on client handling, all 3G companies have fixed data limits. bsnl gives value for money , so i think that is why they have chosen bsnl as the best...

    recently, reliance was the first one to ban on megashare kind sites..(even long before pipa sopa were in minds of americans) airtel blocked several torrent sites..:| bsnl is not minding with your business.
    Site from home gaya bhad mein... AIrtel se bolo FUP band kare.. BSNl se bolo 3G signal do!!!!>: (
