bsnl servers are good for broadband..
if something happens google's will do(no other)
but mostly bsnl's bb servers are flawless.
    job takes the child away.

Use all of them one by one and see what works best for you. I use open DNS these days and they seem to work just fine.

The golden rule of anything and everything is ... "never fix anything, if it ain't broken" (pardon the American English).

So in the same way, do not change something because someone says that "this is better". Now changing DNS is a mostly harmless activity but unless soemthing is not working for you from BSNL DNS, why bother?

Another popular topic on modem setting is ADSL2 vs. G.DMT. I have also seen many threads (and not just on this forum) that advise setting change from ADSL-2 to G.DMT (which is ADSL-1). I found that ADSL-2 is working fine for me. So there is no need to change.

Hi .. i have been benchmarking bsnl and public dns server on GRC benchmark and came out with the above result ...
but i have set my dns in following way ...
    1. 198.153.192.40 (as the dot com query is lesser)
    2. 218.248.255.145 (Best in ISP)
    3. 8.8.8.8 (as a backup)
Is this right and optimized enough? if not .. what shud the proper array?
