| Junior Member | Hi Ask Your Local Telephone Exchange To Check/chnage The Line. It Happens Some Times If Your Cable From Pole To Your Modem Has Some Joint. |

Rep Power: 10 | Yeh joints could be an issue or in other case check if your splitters are working fine .. may be try taking them to one of your friends place and try it there and see if it works ok and if not just buy new filter. |

Rep Power: 2 | Cable could be a problem. The tip of the connection on the cable may not be connecting properly. If BSNL broadband in your area is bad, that could be a possible reason too. I never used BSNL broadband myself. So can't tell for myself. I did try BSNL dial up for a while and boy it sucks or what? |

Rep Power: 10 | Another factor could be the total distance to the telephone exchange which might be causing this trouble because further the exchange is from your place weaker the link will be. |

Rep Power: 2 | Its better to try something before you contact customer care Check all the joints from the box outside your house open the splitter and see if its OK If your friend is having router check your connection through his router also And then contact customer care if you can't fix it yourself. |

Rep Power: 0 | thnx for the reply! but if there was some problem with the cable, i am not supposed to get connection. the problem is with Ares only..i tried uTorrent and its working pretty good..provided the download rate is slow..mine is 256 KBps conn and if i download some files thru FTP, it's downloading at 25-30 Kbps but with uTorrent & BitTorrent, i have never seen it catching up 20 KBps..even though there are 35 seeds! any idea?? |
