Torrent Tricks 2012

I started thread b'coz :

1. I searched the forum and cant find any relevant updates.
2. Much of the torrent leech sites are being shutdown .
3. And ofcourse , not all of us are getting better speeds with p2p softwares.

After the shutdown of leading torrent to http a.k.a Torrific,i was totally doomed as i download most of my stuff from there . Then i searched over the internet for torrent to direct link but hardly find anything useful ; got some clues about zbigz , burnit but either of them were useful as zbigz limited d/l speed 55kB/s and burnit [i think they convert files to torrent] . Again did some home work/wiki and found Private Trackers . Well in this case again some serious issues.i heard private trackers give good speeds,currently using "torrent bully" but downld speed is 30-50KB/s[i'm on 2Mbps plan].
Most of the top PT(Private Trackers) ask for invites and i dont have any frnds in there . Finally got one invite forTorrent-Damage but the support team told me that if i dont maintain the ratio[10Gb = 0.5 ratio] "hell i cant even understand that" they throw me out .

So help me guyz , please tell me how you do download all like that.I mean you can suggest any direct download sites mainly for games OR if you use any "torrent tricks" plz tell me those.BTW i know about seedboxes but looking them as last option as they are paid ones but you can tell me for cheap ones[shared]

i don't know any other servers like torrific but i do know a lot of Rapid leech sites with which u can download files from Rapidshare, Wupload etc and rar/unrar, reupload, rename and do lots more with high speed.

America is aggressively question of copyright. not so many players in this section is prohibited as megashare, jailed owners ..

my Indian friends torrent can still find the best German-IP contact the owner of the blog on his website slimbrowse total.de .. you he is a VPN client and server torrent seed, the best download content .. Only my name "moshe_baba" to him. because it is VPN, your privacy is not open.

Some good people have to avoid being underground, according to circumstances. : (

There are really no torrent tricks that are unknown. There used to be a user here known as "18lama" and he had posted an article on torrent tips - search the forum for the article.

Since the close down of many (free) torrent tracker sites, it has become a problem for the "leechers". Private sites are the main source now. But as you rightly said, need an invitation from a member and have to maintain a high ratio to survive.

Rapidshare and such sites or usenet offer a solution. But you need to be a premium paying member to have a good download speed. Frankly, it appals me that someone is willing to pay for download of pirated stuff - I mean, why can't you buy the stuff then?

Frankly, I am against illegal downloading.

u could just transload the files to the server then rename it to some other name with some other format then download it to ur hard drive then rename it back to its original format....
use proxy or HTTPS so that the ISP won't be able to spy on u.

Yeah ! you are right ;illegal downloading = BAD . But city i live in is not so advanced for gamers , games come in market really late . And as i said in my post i opt games . Whatever thankx for comments fellas

No. Perhaps you did not get my meaning correct. I am personally against piracy but that is my outlook. If someone wants to use pirated stuff, then that is his/her business. But piracy should not be promoted on forums like this.

What I mean in the above statement was:

- there is some pirated stuff on a website like Rapidshare or equivalent
- the stuff is uploaded free without any remuneration to the author/company
- the website is charging you money to download the stuff
- a user is willing to pay to download that stuff but not willing to go the legal way

This was exactly what was wrong with Megaupload, the site that was closed down. People were being rewarded for uploading stuff (the more the better) and others were being charged for download.

As far as your problem is concerned, I do not think that your city is a problem. If you are genuinely interested in buying, you have many options available:

- you can order from direct resellers - any package s/w, game, tool, utility, etc.
- as Ravikiran said, you can order over Flipkart
- there are other sites also such as eBay.in
- you can even order from Amazon (although shipping charges are expensive)

I have said in many other similar subject threads - people spend easily Rs. 1000 per cinema visit or twice that much in a restaurant. People pay for hardware (PC/laptop). Why? Because hardware cannot be pirated. People do not wish to pay for software because it can so easily be copied and duplicated. Why pay when one can have it for free?
