hi everybody
my friend is ready to lend me his home500 account to use during 2-8 at night i tried to change the pass words in the router but i am not able to get the connection
can any one help me to configure it properly

You cannot do this anymore as both mtnl and bsnl do not allow a user name to be used on any telephone line other then the one it is assigned to.

As rightly said by the admin here, you really cannot transfer the connection to another phone line. BSNL has a fool proof method that you cannot use the connection of other landline to another number, even if it belongs to BSNL. Even you cannot even log into your dataone account details page in other ISP services.

Well Admin u r partially correct. Not all the connections are port binded. I am able to use my account anywhere in my city as well as i can use many other accounts at my place. Only a few connections are port binded.
