    i have dataone home500 and i use utorrent.how do i open a port and forward it to utorrent pls help me

    hi dude..i had the same problem which u are talking about..the port doesn't seem to open but the application is able to download! but the download rate is pretty slow! around 10-16 Kbps even though i can directly download (FTP transfer) @ 30KBps!

    Use Bit comet or Azureous in Azureous you can configure many options which you are not able to do in utorrent but its a bit heavy software because its java based.

    302 kbps dwnl speed .
    not happening
    bec even bb have not that speed .
    is there confusion if yes then tell me how it is possibleee

    Same problem for me. I am using emule but it is getting lowID as the TCP and UDP ports are not opened. Can anyone suggest How to open the TCP and UDP ports in the ADSL router.

    Avoid using firewall softwares if u are into p2p. Also bridged mode helps in eliminating the modem port-forwarding to an extent.
