same problem happened to me.. so i called the customer care (about 4 times over a period of 4 weeks). they finally showed up and checked my cable lines and they changed my port at the exchange>> Now its Fixed. You can try calling them and asking them to change your port. If you know any line men ask them to check you cable.

Did you crossed the FUP of 6GB? If yes then your speeds are ok.

I have complained online but they didnt reply.. lemme complain once more....

How do you guys check your usage... i tried a few bsnl sites with username and pass (that is set in the modem) but everytime login fails... but i know the the username and pass that are used in modem and they are 100% correct. or do we have to register separately online to get separate username and pass to check usage online.

why dont u go through selfcare website i.e. selfcare.ndc/edc/wdc/sdc.bsnl.co.in use ndc for norther region, edc for eastern region...in same manner....register there what u need is just the billing account number that is above your phone bill...

in home 500 combo plan speed is not 512kbps but is is 2mbps....and there is difference bitween kBps and kbps...1st one is kilobyte per second and the second is kilo bit per second..in 500 combo you get maximum 2mbps (i.e. 256kBps in download managers )..but it is generally 190 kBps to 230 kBps...if you are getting 205 kBps in download mannager or torrentz then you are getting right speed
