this should show under portal, if not then get a duplicate bill,

or you can even call the customer care @ 1500

There is no last date. This plan is available to all unless it is withdrawn or redrawn by BSNL.

when I type my username & password @dataone.in,it shows ur username &password doesnt match
i hv also tried a number of such websites but wuth no fruitful results(eg.10.240.43.216)
please help me guys otherwise i would run out of my free download

i am using bsnl's 500c plan... while day time i got around 1.95mb/s....but.. during 2-8 i am getting only 240-250 kb/s... is it the problem of my connection or 500c providing only this much while unlimitted????

You can set SMS and email alerts when you exceed your usage. Please try this link.

Web Registration for Usage Alerts

There is a web client in this page, which you can use for checking your usage without logging into any of the portals. This is a new facility by BSNL. I hope it is of some help.

You can use a Bandwidth meter for monitoring your usage. Most of us use it as an alternative. Click here to download.

i have taken the 500C plan. will bsnl charge for viewing the websites, listening to online radio,music and watching online videos other than downloads during day time? how are the above considered during 0200 to 0800 hrs.

All your usage as "viewing the websites, listening to online radio,music and watching online videos" does consume a bandwidth. For example, just voice chatting for an hour might consume 60 to 70 MB of data flow.

Everything is included in your billing. If it's done between 2 am to 8 am, then it's free usage.

How to Check BSNL Broadband Usage Details

You need to switch off and On the modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am to avail night unlimited. Otherwise it is free.

Check your usage regularly at this web site frequently
with 14digit portal ID and PW as password
to be obtained from your exchange.

BSNL Portal

Switch off modem at about 0155AM.
restart at about 0205 AM ( d/l surf or keep modem idle )
Again switch off at 0755.
Check in usage portal , your usage is shown as 0

If you start at 2300 and continue till 0400Am
there is risk of all d/l being charged .

Test 1.
start at 0150AM surf/ keep modem on till 0240 AM
Test 2 .
start 0755 AM surf/keep modem on till 0840AM
Check the usage log after one day.

there is 175 calls free for a month in home 500 c plan.but i heard that if the call is landline to landline than 3 calls makes a one call.
is it true or fake??
because it means that land-line to land-line calls is nearly about 30 paisa!!

As far as I know
If you call any local BSNL landline from your landline 3 minutes will be counted as a call unit.
If you make a call to a local cellphone or STD landline 2 minutes is considered a call unit.
If you call an STD cellphone 1 minute is considered a call unit

my plan is bsnl combo 500. 1.5 GB usage limit and bill from 15th october to 30 october mentioned in the bill
my first month billing it goes like this
NCP inst charges=500=1000.
instalment of modem deposit=166.7.
total usage 1225mb additional usage 383mb charged 61.28
and fixed monthly charges=114.
misc. charges for optional services tax 94.97.
total 1684 bucks - credit 500 for installation
so total bill amounts to 1184.
my questions are
1.why is installtion charge mentined 1000 whereas in the form it was mentioned 250 for installation but why they have charged 1000?
2.MODEM is for rental which is 50 per month then what is 166.7?
3.my usage was 1225 MB then how is the additional usage> as mu have still 275 MB unused in october?
4. what is fixed monthly charges? will i be getting every month?
guys pls sugest what i could do to reduce? there is no security deposit as per my plan no phone rental also..pls let me know as soon as possible.. cam mail at vteshu@yahoo.com
