Rep Power: 0 | hi friends im using a BSNL home plan 500.and i regularly download.i got a downloading speed of 230kbps.one of my friends also taken the same plan.he also got the same downloading speed.(2.00am to 8.00am free downloading) but the problem is when we both connecting and downloading at the same time the speed shares.then we got 115kbps only.if i disconnect he got a full downloading speed of 230kbps.if he disconnect ,i got the full speed.there is no other home plan 500 users in our exchange the problem started before 6 month.i complained to BSNL.they told me that BSNL provide indipendent lines to its customers.there is no chance to a speed sharing(how can i show them the problem????wil they come to my home at nights)and they said its a new problem, they need to discuss about it.every week i called them.the reply is same.its been 6 months.till the problem is there and the BSNL people's discussion is not over yet.there is two more 500 home plan users in my exchange.now all of our downloading speed is 55kbps when all downloading at the same time.anyone disconnects the speed of others will increase. why its happen?any idea?there is no other broadband providers in my area.so i cant go for any other option.. can i go to the consumer court to solve this?plllls help |

Rep Power: 1 | Go to consumer court and take them to task for it. May be call on the media as well. CNN IBN might take your cause. If you can generate some news about it, that might help you in getting their attention. |

Rep Power: 1 | Well..to be frank..You can and should sue them for lack of privacy..HAcking BSNl and sify connections are dead easy..You just need the email id /pwd of the other person in the network and then you are ready to shoot...shoot of his balance I mean |

Rep Power: 1 | I agree with mechanix And I have been doing this. My froiend has taken UL900 connection and I am on Home 500 and at night he uses my username and password and in day I use his. The solution to your problem is just change your password. |

Rep Power: 0 | It Is Not the problem of password and user name.only one can use a user name and password at a time.the actual problem is the speed sharing when we both( me and my friend) downloading at a time.our exchange is a smaller one it works with 32 port.when we downloading the home plan 250 cusomers cannot browse any web pages(me too).why??????????????????? |

Rep Power: 2 | well ... sorry to say but practically u cant sue them or even ASK them to increase ur download speed because : 1.Ur plan is HOME 500 which implies they r just bound to give u a consistent speed of 32KBPS [ yeah , its true] . Anything greater than 32KBPS depends upon network congestion . And as u say urs is a smaller exchange, therefore even 2-3 other users downloading at the same time can cause network congestion. 2.U can sue them only if ur download speed drops down below 32KBPS - thats wat u actually pay for - rest is bonus Sorry dude, cant help it.. u r screwed !! |
