    Default Help in Setting VOIP

    Hello,

Can any one help me in setting up the voip on my bsnl broadband service. Below mentioned are the details of the equipments am having...

    Dataone UTstarcom , Model: UT300r2u
Linksys Phone adapter with router, Model: SPA2102.

I was able to gather some knowledge about the changes need to be done in VPI/VCI: 0/35

If some one is having screenshot of those be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Umesh,

You should setup you modem/router in always-on mode (PPPoE). Please refer to my guide (Solution for multiple machines connecting to same BB connection).

Do the setups mentioned in part I, step 1 only.
Once you have setup the modem/router in PPPoE mode, just connect your Linksys Phone adapter to the Ethernet port of UT-300R2U.

Default You need to open ports

You need to open the Ports FOR SIP 5060 in your router, and u can check the same using free account available in some of the sites i.e. (voipjet.com and binfone.com
