Very slow bb speed

    Default Very slow bb speed

    I have a Type-B2 750 unlimited plan with just 9 to 20kbps most of the time.What should i do?Please Help.

    Do you have any torrents on ? If so disable it. It is better to walkin to the BSNL office and talk to SDE.

    @Race, check other broadband forums, you will mostly find filtered words.

    Run a speed test on speedtest.net and post the screen shot here, if you are not getting desired/correct speed then please reboot your modem and router first and then check what line rate are you getting on modem.

    Its so so slow that i cannot even open the speedtest.net LOL...I just call the customer care 1500 and tell them my problems but they ask me to do that same old trouble shooting %temp% delete histories etc.. saying that my complain is been lodged in BSNL system.And gave me the communication id:I don't know what m i going to do with that communication id.
    Moreover i got my first bill with Rs 2605/- My plan is Type B2 750 unlimited.I think i will be migrating back to GPRS where i am getting a of speed of more than 15 kbps ,with bsnl i am still getting broadband speed of 6 to 10kbps lols
    Lets hope or the worse.

    Things are worst in East. Why not meet SDE of exchange or account officer ? Gives better results.
