How many days it will take to get activated the broadband connection. I have already a Landline connection to my home.?

Technically 1 day but around 20 in actual.

Yes, its true - the Turn Around Time for the BB activation depends on area to area. My Area Engineer was a very good guy and had my connection activated within 2 days. By my friend had a terrible problem in his area took more than 2 weeks to get the line activated.

Its better find your area engineer and build some rapport withhim and keep following up with him till your line gets activated. Thats the only when you can get the work done from BSNL.
