we need to know your modem number ; whether it has a
LAN/Ethernet connection or only a USB connection ; your
OS ; DNS entries ; and your location to suggest a solution .

The MTU Value needs to be changed.

Open the Configuration page>>>>go to the Setup>>>

Select BSNL>>>>>change the MTU value from 1492 to 1452>>>apply

Go to tools>>>>system Commands>>>>click save all.

Occasionally we do get Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, gMail, issues on BSNL. They go away mysteriously. Try the following options:

    - Leave the MTU to 1492
    - Set the DNS settings in modem to openDNS
    - Clear the cache and cookies

Beyond that it is just PnP (plug and pray) ...

If your modem is configured in PPPoE mode, the OpenDNS server settings must be entered in your modem's DNS settings page/options.

If you are using bridge mode, you must set your TCP/IP propoerties as follows (assuming that the modem's IP address is 192.168.1.1):

Use the following IP address: This radio button must be selected.
    IP Address: 192.168.1.10
    Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1

Use the following DNS server address: This radio button must be selected.
    Preferred DNS Server: 208.67.222.222
    Alternate DNS Server: 208.67.220.220

Check this guide: How to set TCP/IP settings
