Unhappy Help - Sites are not displaying

Hi,
I got broadband connection one week back.Till tuesday everything seem to be fine. Now when i am connecting the modem, status is showing as connected.(mine is 500 plan) modem lights are all showing it as connected.I am getting websites only for the first two tries. Then nothing is displayed. but still the status is showing as connected!!!. Plz help me . i thought it may be due to some virus attack. I installed several antivirus softwares and scanned the system thoroughly bt nothing could be found out. Whether this is a problem of connectivity?

yes ofcourse there z no hassle for getting the websites for the first 2-3 tries, but hten nothing z displayed. Gtalk and google earth are also the same case. Is there any ways other than formatting the whole hard disk for removing the vrus, if it is a virus attack. Mine z a 250 GB hard disk. Please guide me.....

Is the modem's link light blinking instead of static, if so you need to get the help of the tech persons from BSNL only. Or did you change any password of of your account in the account checking site of bsnl? Try calling their toll-free number, most of the time they will rectify it through phone itself, it has happened many times for me.

Thanks a lot............ actually it was a problem with the OS (Windows XP SP2). One technician came and told that several persons are affected by this type of problem. After reinstallation of windows it became alright. Thanks 4 ur valuable informations
