I enter the DNS values given by the admin n it worked for me now i am able
to access yahoo sites so thanks once again guyys

Yes your speeds might get affected depending upon how fast or slow your new domain name servers are and how congested or free the network is at that point of time..
I suggest you just keep the settings that work the best for.
